The Community Maritime Park Associates, Inc. and the City of Pensacola will host the dedication of the Vince J. Whibbs Sr., Community Maritime Park and Event. The all-day, family-friendly event is open to the public. Festivities will begin at 10:00 am, with a “Touch A Truck” event – presented by Families First Network – Adoptions and Foster Care, Musical Performances and a Mopar Car Show brought to you by Hill-Kelly Dodge. The 1st Annual Pensacola Kraft Bier Festival presented by Cat Country 98.7 (Admission $35 per person, see pcbeer.com for more information) will get underway at 1pm inside the stadium. Food and drink vendors will be selling tasty treats and refreshments outside the stadium all day. Families won’t want to miss the extensive play zone, featuring a Velcro wall, bungee run, bounce house,  obstacle course, rock climbing wall and more opening at 11:00 am. Wil-Lo Week is bringing the annual Citywide Bootcamp to the celebration with the Kid’s Demonstration at 1:30pm and Adults Demonstration at 2:00pm – don’t miss your chance to meet Roy Jones and Justin Gatlin. The official park dedication ceremony is at 4:00pm and is followed by a special performance by the Charlie Daniels Band. A spectacular firework show presented by Hill-Kelly Dodge & Molton, Allen & Williams, LLC will end the event around 7pm.
